Arista Equestrian has been purchased by a trio of women from Victoria, B.C.: Gail Gordon, businesswoman, Frann MacLean, marketing consultant and owner of an equestrian facility in Victoria, and Catherine Murray, lawyer. All are mothers and horsewomen. All are also full of fun and enthusiasm! These three not only bring talent, know how and a lot of energy to Arista, they also bring the Horse Manuwear line of clothing.
Horse Manuwear is a casual clothing line for horse lovers. In business for just over two years, Horse Manuwear is in more than 80 stores in Canada, and is ready to take on new markets. It is with this experience in the clothing industry that MacLean, Gordon and Murray will operate Arista. Former owner Sharie Loychuk will serve as a designer and consultant for the company.
“I couldn’t be happier,” said Loychuk. “They share the same vision that I do for Arista—to be the best-made, most fashion-forward, highest-quality riding and equestrian clothing line in the world. As well, they, like I, feel strongly about continuing to manufacture as much of the Arista line as possible in Canada.”
